The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.10 dated 22.01.2023 registered under Sections 148, 149, 186, 224, 307, 332, 353 IPC (Section 324 IPC added later on), Section 13A of Public Gambling Act and Section 25 of Arms Act, at Police Station Uttawar, District Palwal.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel on instructions submits that the petitioner is ready to surrender before the trial Court and prays that his bail application be ordered to be decided in a time bound manner.

In view of the prayer made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, present petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned trial Court that in case the petitioner surrenders on or before 04.09.2023 and files an application for grant of bail, the trial Court is requested to decide the same expeditiously, in accordance with law.
