In the present petition, the challenge is to the impugned order dated 19.07.2012 (Annexure P-7) by which, the time barred-revision petition No. 90 of 2011 filed by respondent No. 5 against the order dated 07.03.2007 (Annexure P-4) has been allowed by violating the provisions of Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.

Learned counsel for the petitioners further submits that the petitioners have already raised the said grievance in the Legal Notice dated 10.03.2025 (Annexure P-14) but the same is still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioners will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a direction is issued to the respondents to decide the same by giving due opportunity to the petitioners as well as the private respondents to present their respective views and decide the issue as to whether, the action of grant of permit or cancellation of permit in favour of the petitioners is valid or not. by passing an appropriate speaking order in a time bound manner. 4.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Animesh Sharma, Additional Advocate General, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and submits that in case, Legal Notice dated 10.03.2025 (Annexure P-14) has been received in the office of the concerned authorities i.e. respondent No. 3 and the same is still pending consideration with the authorities concerned, the same will be decided by the competent authority within a period of eight weeks of the receipt of certified copy of this order by passing an appropriate speaking order and in case, the petitioners are found entitled for grant of any relief, the same will be granted to them, otherwise due reasons for not accepting the claim of the petitioners will be mentioned in the speaking order the said reasons will also be conveyed to the petitioners for their information and necessary action. 6.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that keeping in view the statement of learned State counsel, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further. 7.
Ordered accordingly.

It is made clear that before taking any action on the legal notice dated 10.03.2025 (Annexure P-14), the respective parties who will be affected from the outcome of the said legal notice dated 10.03.2025 (Annexure P-14) should be heard properly by the authority concerned. 9.
Pending civil miscellaneous application, if any, stands disposed of.
