Present petition has been filed for issuance of directions for grant of six weeks emergency parole to the petitioner as his wife is suffering from serious ailments and bye-pass surgery to be conducted. Learned State counsel has filed reply by way of affidavit, inter alia, taken the plea that the petitioner does not deserve the concession of temporary release because of his previous conduct. However, by now petitioner has not filed any petition before the appropriate authorities to release him temporarily on medical ground.

In view of these facts, the petitioner may approach the appropriate authorities under the Act for his release on parole and the authorities under the Act shall decide the said representation within a period of three weeks from the date of its presentation. With these directions, the present petition is disposed of.
