Rajan Gupta, J (Oral) This is a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to produce alleged detenue in this court. Learned State counsel submits that pursuant to order dated 28.4.2016, statement of Sheikh Junaid was recorded before JMIC, Srinagar. He stated that he had left the company of the petitioner voluntarily and is residing with his parents of his free will. He has placed copy of statement of Sheikh Junaid. Same is taken on record as mark 'A'. Mr.Toor, amicus curiae submits that in view of this development, no cause of action survives in this petition. Under the circumstances, this petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
