An application was sent by Varinder Singh to Hon'ble the Chief Justice of this Court, which has been taken on judicial side. It is stated in the application that applicant's father Anokh Singh went from house for domestic work at about 6.30 A.M. on 21.05.2015 and did not come back to home. They have also informed the police but neither the police is tracing him nor disclosing his whereabouts. It is also stated in the application that applicant has apprehension that Anokh Singh might be involved in some false case. Notice of motion was issued and learned State counsel was directed to file the status report.

CRWP No.857 of 2015 -2As per the status report filed by learned State counsel, Anokh Singh, father of the petitioner was nominated as an accused in case FIR No.33 dated 23.07.2011 under Sections 379-B/34 IPC, which was amended to Section 382 IPC, registered at Police Station Airport, Amritsar City. He was arrested in that case on 16.04.2012 and then he was released on regular bail on 16.07.2012. He was appearing in that case which was pending before learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Amritsar. It is further in the status report that warrant of arrest issued by learned trial Court against Anokh Singh for 19.08.2015 could not be served as he was not traced out. Again, learned trial Court issued fresh warrants of arrest against Anokh Singh, father of the petitioner for 07.10.2015. In view of the status report filed by the State, it is clear that accused Anokh Singh has absconded from the proceedings before the trial Court and non-bailable warrants have already been issued against him.

In view of the above, no further action is required in the present case. Therefore, the present petition stands disposed of accordingly.
