HARPREET SINGH BRAR J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition is for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 4 to take appropriate action against respondent No.5 and to submit status report in FIR No.32 dated 12.02.2025 registered under Sections 305, 331(4) of BNS, 2023 at Police Station Sadar Mahendergarh, District Mahendergarh. Further prayer has been made to direct respondents No.1 to 4 to hand over the investigation of the FIR (supra) to some independent agency.

Reply by way of affidavit of Dinesh Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kanina, District Mahendergarh, has been filed in the Court today, which is taken on record. Learned State counsel, at the very outset, submits that the investigating agency has completed the investigation and prepared a cancellation report and the same would be submitted before the jurisdictional Court within a period of four weeks from today. In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to avail alternative remedy in accordance with law.
