HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J Petitioners have prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing respondent Nos.2 & 3 to protect their life and liberty at the hands of respondent Nos.4 to 9.

Upon notice, a report from SHO Gurjit Singh, P.S. Lopoke, District Amritsar has been received wherein it has been stated that the matter has been inquired through ASI Gurdip Singh. Statements of the petitioners as also the private respondents have been recorded, in terms whereof there is no threat to the life of the petitioners from the private respondents. Private respondents have undertaken that they have no objection to the marriage.

In view thereof, no direction is required to be issued. Disposed of accordingly.
