(Oral) The petitioners have approached this Court under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, primarily seeking relief of writ of Mandamus for releasing their land under Section 24(2) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (for brevity 'the Act'). 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the land of the other similar situated persons have already been released. Therefore, in such a situation, he may be allowed to withdraw the C.M. No. 6176-CWP of 2015 as well as the instant writ petition with liberty to the petitioners to challenge the acquisition proceedings in accordance with law. 3.

Dismissed as withdrawn. It shall, however, be open to the petitioners to file an appropriate writ petition challenging the acquisition proceedings, in accordance with law.
