(ORAL) Counsel for the petitioner states that though in the present writ petition the petitioner is seeking salary for a period of two years by considering him to be in service till the age of 60 years but the said prayer is not being pressed and the petitioner will only press the release of his pensionary benefits for which he was entitled for after he retired in January, 2012. Counsel further states that there is no valid justification for not releasing the pensionary benefits for the last seven years and petitioner is being made to run from pillar to post to get his retiral benefits.

Counsel for the petitioner further states that for the relief which has been sought in the present writ petition, the petitioner has served respondents with a legal notice on 04.10.2018 (Annexure P-5), which is still pending consideration with the respondents and the NARESH KUMAR 2019.07.05 12:24 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh
