JASWANT SINGH, J (ORAL) The petitioner retired from the rank of Senior Medical Officer on attaining the age of retirement on 31.3.2014. He was granted one year extension till 31.3.2015. During the extension period, he was transferred from his place of posting at Hoshiarpur to Nawanshahr vide impugned order dated 06.3.2014 (P.1). At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner after availing extension of second year in service has retired on 31.3.2016 and, therefore, the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous. Dismissed as infructuous.
