An application was sent by Gian Singh to Hon'ble the Chief Justice of this Court, which has been taken on judicial side. Notice of motion was issued and learned State counsel was directed to file the report.

The status report has been filed by learned State counsel. I have gone through record, especially the status report. The statement of detenue Sonia has already been recorded in which she has stated that she is residing along with her minor child as per her own will with her aunt/maasi Neelam Khosa. Further, the statement of petitioner has also been recorded, in which he stated that he did not want to pursue the application dated 16.06.2015, which was also sent to ADCP-2, Ludhiana.

Keeping in view the status report, no further action is required in the present case. Therefore, the present petition stands disposed of accordingly.
