CHANDIGARH.
CRM M26074 of 2019 Date of Decision: December 16, 2019 Joshua Amangwa @ Smith 1..Petitioner Vs.
State of Punjab ..Respondent
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE MAHABIR SINGH SINDHU.
. Present: Mr. L.S.Sekhon, Advocate for the petitioner.
Mr.H.S. Multani, AAG, Punjab.
.
Prayer in this petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. is for grant of bail pending trial to the petitioner in case FIR No. 161 dated 06.08.2019 under Sections 21 and 29 of the NDPS Act, 1985, registered at Police Station Adampur, District Jalandhar (Rural). Learned counsel for the petitioner instead of pressing the petition for grant of bail pending trial, confined his prayer only to the limited extent that trial be concluded expeditiously. Prayer seems to be justified and accepted.
This petition is disposed off with a request to the learned trial Court to conclude the trial expeditiously, if there is no legal hitch. December 16, 2019 (MAHABIR SINGH SINDHU) sanjay JUDGE Whether speaking/ reasoned:
