(Oral) The petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No. 58, dated 24.4.2016, Police Station Maur, District Bathinda, under Sections 420, 409, 467, 468, 471 IPC (Annexure P-1).

It has been submitted that previously a cancellation report was presented by the police but the same was not accepted as would be evident from order dated 24.7.2019 (Annexure P-3) and the police was directed to conduct further investigation in the matter. It has been submitted that although a period of more than 2 years has been elapsed but the police has not come out with any fresh report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. A copy of this order be conveyed to Senior Superintendent of Police, Bathinda, for necessary compliance.
