This is a petition for grant of parole to the petitioner on account of the death of his father, regarding which some last rights/ceremonies have to be performed by him.

Notice was issued and response received from the respondent, by way of affidavit of Satyawan, Deputy Superintendent, District Jail, Jhajjar, which reveals that the factum of death of petitioner's father is indeed correct, although it has been stated that the petitioner has been disentitled to the parole on account of statutory limitations enabling him to such a concession only after one year of his incarceration. We would, noticing the factual position of the petitioner's father's death warranting his presence at home, deem it appropriate to accept the writ petition and direct the release of the petitioner on interim bail for a period of one month commencing from Deepak Kumar Bhardwaj 2016.11.23 15:21 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
