CORAM:- HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE JAGMOHAN BANSAL Present:- Mr. Abhishek Jindal, Advocate for the petitioner Mr. Deepak Vashisht, DAG Haryana *** JAGMOHAN BANSAL, J. (ORAL) 1.

The petitioners through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India are seeking direction to official respondents to make correction in Family Income recorded in Parivar Pehchan Patra (for short 'PPP') linked with family ID No.3WNI9246 and issue updated family ID with correct family income. 2.

As per pleadings, the petitioners are resident of State of Haryana and they belong to financially weaker section of the society. Their annual income is approximately Rs.90,000/- to Rs.1,00,000/-. They while updating family income for the year 2026 due to inadvertent typographic error entered figure of Rs.9,00,000/- instead of Rs.90,000/-. The figure of Rs.9,00,000/- has brought them into the category of higher income family. The petitioners have made several representations to DEEPAK BISSYAN 2026.05.04 17:16 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-13627-2026 -2authorities including Deputy Commissioner and Additional Deputy Commissioner, Gurugram seeking amendment in their PPP. Inaction of respondents would cause grave prejudice to them particularly to petitioner No.1 who had scored 98.483 percentile in JEE Mains 2026 and is eligible for admission in IIT and NIT under Economically Weaker Sections Category. He would be denied admission under said Category on account of incorrect income reflected in PPP. 3.

Learned State counsel submits that there is no mechanism to make correction in the online portal, nevertheless, petitioners may make representation along with evidence with respect to claimed income which would be considered and addressed by competent authority in the office of respondent No.1. The needful would be done within three weeks from the date of filing representation along with evidence. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioners agrees to the aforesaid arrangement.

5.

In the wake of statement of both sides, the instant petition stands disposed of.
