**** RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK J. (ORAL) Petitioner, by way of present criminal writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeks a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus.

Notice of motion was issued.

Reply by way of affidavit dated 4.8.2015 of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division, Guru Har Sahai, District Ferozepur, on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 3, filed in the Court today, is taken on record and copy thereof has been supplied to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the State submits that alleged detenue namely Seema Rani (daughter of the petitioner) has suffered a statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C. before the learned Illaqa Magistrate, that she has left the home on her own sweet will, with a AMIT KUMAR 2015.08.04 17:36 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

CRWP No. 983 of 2015 view to marry respondent No.4 namely Sukhjeet Singh son of Mal Singh. Later on, she has performed marriage with Sukheet Singh and now they are living as husband and wife. She further submits that in this view of the matter, no further orders are called for in the present petition and the same may be disposed of, as having been rendered infructuous.

Faced with the above, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that let the present petition be disposed of in view of the statement made by learned counsel for the State but liberty may be granted to the petitioner to pursue his other remedies, in accordance with law.

In view of the above statements made by learned counsel for both the parties, instant petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous, however, with liberty as prayed for.
