Present petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS for issuance of an appropriate order or direction to respondent Nos.3 and 4 not to interfere in peaceful life of the petitioners and to decide the representation dated 28.03.2026 (Annexure P-1) given to respondent No.2. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contended that petitioner No.3 was involved in 7 FIRs and is on bail in all of them; Petitioner No.3 has recently solemnized marriage with petitioner No.2; regarding this, a protection petition i.e. CRWP-2073-2026, filed by them, has already been allowed by this Court vide order dated 23.02.2026, since then, certain persons, who introduced themselves as CIA officials have been continuously raiding his house, and causing harassment to petitioner No.1 (petitioner GEETA RANI 2026.05.06 16:19 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment Punjab & Haryana High Court at Chandigarh

Notice of motion.

Mr. Anup Singh, AAG, Punjab, accepted notice on behalf of the respondent-State and upon instructions from ASI Balvir Singh, submitted that petitioner No.3 is involved in five cases of Indian Penal Code. It is further submitted that when a complaint was received regarding his eloping with a girl, the police went to his house just to verify the facts of that case. The official has also recorded statement of his mother and now, he is not required by the police.
