******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Attar Singh submits that petitioner has not joined the investigation. He has been arrested by the police of Police Station Dorangla, District Gurdaspur in case FIR No.31 dated 04.05.2018 registered for the offences punishable under Section 420, 406 read with Section 120-B of Indian Penal Code. Mr. G.S. Chinna, Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of petitioner and filed fresh power of attorney. In view of submission of learned State counsel, he seeks permission to withdraw the present petition as the same has become infructuous.
