Petitioner by filing this writ petition had challenged the order dated 20.1.2011 (P-5)passed by Collector Sub Division Nabha whereby the petition under Section 5 of the Punjab Public Premises and Land (Eviction and Rent Recovery)Act,1973 instituted by respondent no.1 Corporation for ejectment of the petitioner from Shed No. C-24, Industrial Focal Point,Nabha was allowed. Further challenge was laid to the order dated 21.12.2011(P-6) passed by Commissioner, Patiala Division,Patiala whereby appeal against said order filed by the petitioner was dismissed.

At the time of hearing today it has been brought to the notice of the Court by the petitioner that possession of the demised RAJINDER PRASHAD JOSHI 2015.08.05 12:49 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court, Chandigarh.

CWP 10706/2014 premises has since been taken over by respondent no.1-Corporation, rendering the instant writ petition as infructuous. In response,learned State counsel does not dispute the aforesaid factual position.

In view of the statements made at the Bar, present writ petition stands dismissed as having become infructuous. 04.08.2015.
