Tribhuvan Dahiya, J (Oral) The petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant the petitioner his pending retiral dues including gratuity, leave encashment etc. alongwith interest from the date of retirement, i.e., 31.07.2020.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that grievance raised herein is pending for appropriate decision before respondent No.2. At this stage, the petitioner will be satisfied in case respondent No.2 is directed to decide his pending representation dated 01.05.2024, Annexure P-5, in a specific period.

Learned State counsel, appearing on advance notice, submits that the pending representation, dated 01.05.2024, will be decided by respondent No.2-Director General, Higher Education, by passing a speaking order, in accordance with law, within three months.
