The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to re-issue him passport with changed address.

The petitioner is holding passport which is valid till 19.02.2029. He has changed his residential address and wants to make correction in the passport. He has applied for re-issuance of passport with changed address. 3.

Ms. Shreyansi Verma, Central Government Counsel submits that passport authority has initiated discrete enquiry. As soon as report is received, an appropriate order shall be passed. 7.

Counsel for the petitioner agrees to the aforesaid arrangement. 8.

In the wake of statement of both sides, the petition stands disposed of. The needful shall be done within eight weeks from the receipt of inquiry report.
