The prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for issuance of direction to official respondents to take action on the representation dated 05.08.2021 for conducting investigation in fair and transparent manner in FIR No.127, dated 31.07.2021, under Sections 498-A, 406 IPC, registered at Police Station Division No.II, District Pathankot. Issue notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr.M.S.Nagra, Assistant Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner would be satisfied if her representation, dated 05.08.2021, Annexure P-5 (wrongly written as Annexure P-4), is decided expeditiously.
