(ORAL) Learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that petitioner No.2-Pardeep Singh Kaleka, who at the time of filing of the present petition was Deputy Director, Department of Rural Development and Panchayats Punjab, was promoted as Additional Director and petitioner No.4-J.P. Singla, who also at the time of filing of the present petition was Deputy Director, Department of Rural Development and Panchayat Punjab, is now working as Joint Director in the department. In view of these facts, all the apprehensions shown by the petitioners in the writ petition that they will never be promoted, are found to be false.

Accordingly, there is no merit in the present petition and the same is dismissed.
