(ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondents No.4 and 5 are calling the petitioner time and again to come to the police station in respect of an FIR No.129 dated 03.08.2021, which has been registered against one Boota Singh. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner has no connection with the said Boota Singh, but she is being harassed by the officials especially respondents No.4 and 5 and in support of the said averments/allegation, petitioner has attached the screenshots of the phone calls received by her from the said police officials.

Mr. Sandep Kumar, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, who has joined the proceedings through video conference, keeping in view the service of advance copy of petition accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Kashmir Singh, CIA Patti, submits that petitioner is not required in the FIR No.129 dated 03.08.2021 and it will be ensured that no calls are made to the petitioner in respect of the said FIR. Learned State counsel further submits that if the petitioner is required in any case, appropriate procedure as envisaged under law will be followed even for summoning her to the police station.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the above-said statement of learned State counsel, the grievance of the petitioner, as raised in this petition, stands redressed and she does not want to press the present petition any further and the same may be disposed of as such.
