HARNARESH SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) Case is taken up for hearing through Video Conferencing.  The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for the issuance of direction to respondents No.1 and 2 to enquire into the matter relating to complaint dated 23.01.2020 filed before respondent No.2, vide Diary No.154 (Annexure P-14), by constituting a special investigation team or by any senior police official.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that truck drivers, namely, Kaka Singh, Jasvir Singh and Afzal Hussain, have sworn affidavits deposing therein that on the demand raised by respondents No.4 to 8, they had unloaded the broken rice in their factories. The said fact was also brought to the notice of the concerned S.H.O. Photocopies of bills, bilties and weighing slips have also been placed on record as Annexures P-1 to P13 in support of these assertions. Learned counsel for the petitioner further contends that PARVEEN KUMAR 2020.09.16 05:39 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

-2CRM-M-28011-2020 regarding his grievance, the petitioner had also made a complaint/representation dated 23.01.2020 (Annexure P-14) to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Khanna, but the same is still pending.            

                    

            Notice of motion to respondents No.1 to 3 only, at this stage. On the asking of this Court, Mr. Venu Gopal Jauhar, Sr. DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3. In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner during the hearing of the present petition, but without going into the merits of the case, respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Police District Khanna, is directed to look into the representation/complaint dated 23.01.2020 (Annexure P-14) made by the petitioner and decide the same within one month after receiving the copy of this order, in accordance with law.

Disposed of.
