As per report of Warrant Officer, detenues, namely, Manjit Singh, Kuldeep Singh and Rajinder Singh were arrested by the police in case bearing FIR No. 174 dated 18.12.2016, registered at Police Station Nehianwala. Thereafter, they were produced before the Magistrate, Bathinda on 19.12.2016 and their two days remand was granted by the Magistrate. The Warrant Officer has also looked into the daily diary register to this effect.

In view of report of Warrant Officer, no further action is required in this petition and the same is disposed of as such. However, the petitioner will be at liberty to avail all other legal remedies available to him under the law.
