Learned State counsel submits that after joining respondents no. 4 to 6 alongwith one more person, namely, Bimla Devi in investigation and getting polygraphic test of respondent no. 4-Ramesh Pal, the police has not been able to trace Narender Singh, husband of petitioner. All the attempts were made to trace him and the matter is still under investigation. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the police has got conducted polygraphic test of respondent no.4-Ramesh Pal only but respondents no. 5 and 6 were not got subjected to polygraphic test. He requests that the matter may be referred to a Special Investigating Team to investigate the FIR registered by the police in this case. Learned State counsel has no objection if SIT is ordered to be constituted to investigate this case.

In view of submission of learned counsel for the petitioner, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to Superintendent of Police, Jitender Kumar 2017.11.06 10:07 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CHANDIGARH

CRWP No. 1646 of 2016 -2Kurukshetra to constitute a SIT to investigate this case. The SIT will always keep the petitioner in loop and inform her about progress being made in the investigation.

The petitioner shall, however, be at liberty to file fresh petition, if need so arises at later stage.
