CWP No.16476 of 2019 Prayer in present writ petition is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents to promote the petitioner as District Welfare Officer since 04.10.2018.

CWP No.16476 of 2019 (O&M) {2} Mr. Virender Singh Punia, learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner submits that petitioner, at this stage, would be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.2 to consider and decide representation dated 22.04.2019 (Annexure P-5) within some specified time. In view of statement made by learned counsel for the petitioner and without going into merit of case or commenting thereon, present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 22.04.2019 (Annexure P-5) by passing a well reasoned and speaking order within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

In case, representation is not decided within aforementioned specified time, there shall be costs of Rs.25,000/- to be paid by the concerned officer to the petitioner.
