(ORAL) Petitioner has approached this Court under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking writ in the nature of certiorari, mandamus for quashing the notification dated 28.01.2003 (Annexure P-1) issued by respondent No.1 vide which the Cooperative Banks registered under the provisions of the Cooperative Societies Act have been speicfied as Banks within the meaning of Section 2(1)(c)(v) of the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement Security Interest Act, 2002 and for quashing the notice dated 12.11.2014 (Annexure P-4), notice dated 28.01.2015 (Annexure P-5) and notice dated 25.04.2015 (Annexure P9). 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that during the pendency of the writ petition, petitioner had filed a revision petition under the Punjab Cooperative Societies Act, 1961, which has been decided in favour of the Ravinder Singh 2016.08.11 11:50 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document petitioner, therefore, present writ petition has been rendered infructuous.
