In the written statement, it has been pointed out that the impugned order dated 03.03.2015 is appealable before the Appellate Authority as per the provisions of the Punjab Civil Services (Punishment and Appeal) Rules, 1970.

Upon realizing, the learned counsel representing the petitioner prays for permission to withdraw the present writ petition in order to avail the statutory remedy. He submits that the period spent while pursuing the present writ petition should be excluded from consideration. 3.

In view of the above, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty to avail the statutory remedy. 4.

In the opinion of this Court, there is a provision under Section 14 of the Limitation Act, 1963, which principally deals with the same.
