He confines his prayer in the instant petition to the expeditious disposal of the appeal. Issue notice to the respondents.

Mr. Shiv Kumar Sharma, Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of the respondents.

The appeal preferred by the petitioner is stated to be pending for over a year and a half. It would be in the interest of justice if the respondents are directed to decide his appeal expeditiously.
