*** Kuldip Singh, J. (oral) Petitioner alleges that Gaja Singh, Gulshan, Kumari Sudha, Snehlata and Jyoti are stated to be brick kiln labourers and they have been illegally detained by the brick kiln owners respondents No. 4 & 5 in violation of the Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, 1976.

In view of Section 12 of the aforesaid Act, the petitioner is given liberty to move an application before the District Magistrate, Mohali. On filing of such application, the District Magistrate, Mohali shall act in accordance with law. Petition is accordingly disposed of.
