STATE OF PUNJAB AND OTHERS ... Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE HARNARESH SINGH GILL
Present:
Mr. Ranjan Lakhanpal, Advocate for the petitioner.
Mr. Harbir Sandhu, AAG Punjab.
**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) By way of the instant petition, the petitioner seeks protection as well as issuance of directions to the concerned Police, not to harass him at the behest of his brother, namely, Baldev Singh and Gurpreet Singh @ Gugga son of Malkit Singh.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner owns a house and an agricultural land worth crore of rupees; that the brother of the petitioner, instigated by Gupreet Singh @ Gugga, is not allowing him to use his house and land and that though the petitioner has moved a complaint dated 09.02.2022 to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Khanna, District Ludhiana, yet no action has been taken upon the same till date.
I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. I do not find any merit in the present petition. As per the contents of the representation dated 09.02.2022, the house in question is AMAN JAIN 2022.07.25 17:20 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
CRM-M31362-2022 (O&M) -2in possession of the petitioner's brother, namely Baldev Singh; that Baldev Singh did not allow the petitioner to enter the house and that he is also asking the prospective buyer(s) not to buy the said house. This being the situation, the petitioner has his alternative remedy before the competent court of law.
In view of the above, I find no ground to issue any directions to the concerned police/authority.
Dismissed.
