"#  $ Learned State counsel has filed reply by way of affidavit of Vibhor Kumar, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police (HQ), Ferozepur. The same is taken on record.

Heard.

It is well elicited from the reply that FIR No.16 dated 19.02.2016 under Sections 384/506 IPC read with Section 3 of the Official Secrets Act and Section 25 of the Arms Act was registered at Police Station Cantt. Ferozepur against the petitioner and he was taken into custody by the police on the same very day and was RATTAN PAL SINGH 2016.03.30 10:18 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab & Haryana High Court



   produced before the concerned Court on 20.02.2016 and thereafter, a .30 bore pistol along with three live cartridges were recovered from him on the basis of disclosure statement.

Contentions of the learned State counsel are that the petitioner is a habitual offender and five criminal cases under Sections 302/307/384 etc. are pending against him.

Since there is due recourse of law and nothing survives in this petition, nor there is any representation on behalf of the petitioner, the petition as such stands dismissed.
