Heard Mr. Gurveer Sidhu, Assistant Advocate General, Punjab representing the respondent/State.
In the light of contentions of the learned State counsel on instructions from HC Rajinder Singh, Police Station Sidhwan Bet, Ludhiana which also finds reflected in the reply, the petitioner's husband Gursewak Singh son of Teja Singh resident of village Dango, Tehsil Raikot, District Ludhiana was formally arrested on 26.02.2016 by the police of Police Station Sidhwan Bet, Jagraon in a case bearing FIR No.32 dated 22.02.2016 under Sections 392/34 IPC and was RATTAN PAL SINGH 2016.04.12 17:42 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab & Haryana High Court
produced before the concerned Court on 27.02.2016 and since then has been sent to judicial custody on 29.02.2016 and learned State counsel has placed on record list of cases being faced by the alleged detenue Gursewak Singh which are numbering around 40/50 in all with various Police Stations under various offences including murder/robbery etc.
Keeping in view that nothing survives in the present petition and there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner impels this Court to dismiss the same.
