Learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that the parties have since compromised the matter and that the appellants herein have agreed to give the respondent - Virender Kumar - an amount of Rs.4,40,000/- towards full and final settlement of the claim. A cheque bearing No.013873 dated 21.05.2024 amounting to Rs.4,40,000/- drawn on Punjab National Bank has been handed over to learned counsel for the respondent. Copy of the same has also been supplied to the Court, which is taken on record. An affidavit of the respondent - Virender Kumar - has been filed stating that the parties have since compromised the matter and that he is agreeable to the said amount, which is taken on record. Learned counsel for the parties are also ad idem that the aforesaid amount is paid towards all claims of the respondent and that now the dispute stands settled in totality JITENDER KUMAR 2024.05.23 11:16 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment Chandigarh

In view of the above, the present appeal has been rendered infructuous and the same is disposed off as such. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
