*** ANIL KSHETARPAL, J (Oral) The hearing of the case was held through video conferencing on account of restricted functioning of the Courts. The dispute with regard to apportionment of the compensation is pending before the Court of competent jurisdiction at Narnaul. Through this writ petition, the petitioner prays for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondents to disburse the amount of compensation of Rs.1,30,90,825/- assessed by the competent authority-cum-District Revenue Officer under the National Highways Act, 1956. Learned counsel representing the petitioner admits that the National Highway Authority has deposited the amount with the competent Court where the dispute with regard to apportionment of the amount is pending. He prays that the Court of the Additional District Judge, Narnaul, be requested to finally decide the LAC case No.1 of 2020.

In view the aforesaid facts, the writ petition is disposed of with a request to the learned Additional District Judge, Narnaul, to make sincere efforts for expeditious disposal of the matter preferably within a period of three months. If the amount deposited in the Court, by the competent authority for land acquisition, has not been invested in a fixed deposit, the Court is requested to invest the same to avoid any further loss to the parties. All the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, are also disposed of.
