(Oral) Learned State counsel submits that the case of the petitioner has been forwarded by the office of Director General of Police (Prisons), Haryana to the State Government and which is likely to be taken up on 9.2.2017 and would be decided as per the applicable policy and will dispose of the same preferably within a period of one and a half months. Faced with this situation, counsel for the petitioner has made statement withdrawing the present petition. However, reserving the right of the petitioner to invoke the jurisdiction of this Court on the same very grounds in case of failure of the State Government to comply with the undertaken given.
