Mr. UK Agnihotri, Advocate for the respondent. *** ANIL KSHETARPAL, J (Oral) The hearing of the case was held through video conferencing on account of restricted functioning of the Courts. This is an application filed by the wife with a prayer to transfer the proceedings in the petition bearing No.HMA/481/2021, titled as "Gurmeet Singh vs. Murti Devi" pending in the Family Court, Karnal, to the Court of competent jurisdiction at Jind.

Mr. UK Agnihotri, Advocate, has entered appearance for the respondent and stated that as the Family Court has started functioning at Assandh, therefore, the proceedings have already been transferred to Assandh which is hardly 19 kms. away from the place of residence of the petitioner. Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, no ground to transfer the petition is made out.

Dismissed.
