The petitioner prays for issuance of a direction for release of the payment in respect of the work done by him pursuant to allotment of contract in his favour for labour work and in respect of which he has submitted bills dated 22.7.2020 (Annexures P6 to P-10).

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and while refraining from making any expression as regards averments made in the petition, the same is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to look into the matter and to ensure that the bills in question are processed in accordance with law. It is further ordered that in case anything is found due to be paid to the petitioner, the payment in respect of the same shall be released at the earliest.
