(Oral) The petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant market rate interest on the delayed payment of retiral service benefits of the petitioner pertaining to leave encashment from the date of retirement till date.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that grievance raised herein is pending for appropriate decision before the respondents. At this stage, the petitioner will be satisfied in case respondent no.2 is directed to decide the pending representation, dated 24.02.2025, Annexure P-2, in a specified period. 3.
Notice of motion.

Ms. Tanushree Gupta, Deputy Advocate General, Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State and submits that the pending representation, dated 24.02.2025, will be decided by respondent no.2-Director General, Higher Education, by passing a speaking/reasoned order in accordance with law within a period of three months.
