On 4.5.2026, the following order was passed:
'Apprehending their arrest FIR No.39 dated 25.02.2026, u/s 115(2), 118(1), 351(2), 333 of BNS (Sections 323, 324, 506, 452 IPC respectively) and Section 117(2) BNS (Section 325 IPC) added later on, registered at Police Station Pasyana, District Patiala; the petitioners have preferred this second petition under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking pre-arrest bail.
Counsel for the petitioners, inter alia, contends that though the first plea for anticipatory bail filed at the instance of the petitioners was dismissed as withdrawn on 22.04.2026, but the changed circumstance is that a settlement vide compromise deed dated 28.04.2026 has now been arrived at between the rival parties (copy whereof has been appended as Annexure P-4 with the petition in hand) & the petitioners are willing to join investigation and cooperate therein as per law. Notice of motion.

CRM-M No.24740 of 2026 -2entered appearance on behalf of the respondent No.1-State of Punjab. At this stage; Mr. L.S. Lakhanpal, Advocate has entered appearance on behalf of respondent No.2 and filed his power of attorney. He has ratified the aspect of matter having been compromised between the rival parties. Adjourned to 27.05.2026.
The petitioners are directed to appear before the Investigating Officer on 07.05.2026 at 11:00 A.M. in concerned Police Station and join investigation. In the event of arrest, the petitioners shall be released on interim bail subject to their furnishing personal/surety bond(s) to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer/Investigating Officer. As and when further called by Investigating Officer, the petitioner shall join the investigation. They shall abide by the condition(s) enumerated under Section 482(2) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.' 2.
Further, vide order of even date i.e. 2.7.2026 passed in CRM-M No.24607 of 2026, the FIR itself stands quashed on the basis of compromise.
