By way of present writ petitioner, prayer has been made for issuance of directions to respondents to forward the reference under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 filed at the instance of petitioners on 06.06.2007.

Upon advance notice, Mr. Shivendra Swaroop, DAG Haryana assisted by Mr. Parmod Chahal, District Revenue Officer, Jhajjar points out that no such reference dated 06.06.2007 was ever received in the office of respondent No.3, however, as per him, on the contrary Petitioner, along with one another joint owner earlier approached respondent No.3 by way of reference filed under Section 28-A of Land Acquisition Act, 1894 on 02.05.2016 which was rejected being time-barred by passing a speaking order on 06.12.2018. A copy of the aforementioned reference under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 as well as the order dated 06.12.2018 passed by respondent No.3, thereupon has been handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner.
