SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (Oral) This is a petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India seeking direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and her minor son as the police officials of CIA Staff, Kapurthala are visiting the house of the petitioner without there being any FIR, as also to comply with the provisions of Section 160 Cr.P.C. in case presence of the petitioner is required in connection with any complaint.

Status report/reply by way of affidavit of Gaurav Toora, IPS, SSP, District Kapurthala, has been filed on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3. Same is taken on record. Copy thereof has been furnished to learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition at this stage.
