**** ANUPINDER SINGH GREWAL, J (ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, who had applied to the post of Assistant Lineman, is at serial No.3 in the waiting list of the general category. The petitioner has definite instructions that one successful candidate in the general category has not joined services and he has heard that there are other candidates as well in the general category, who have not taken appointment. He has sent a notice (Annexure P-10) to the respondents in this regard. He also contends that he would be satisfied if this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the notice (Annexures P-10) in accordance with law. Issue notice to respondents.

At the asking of the Court, Mr. Anant Kataria, DAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of respondents.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the notice (Annexures P-10) in accordance with law within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
