(Oral) The petitioner, who had been declared a 'Proclaimed Person', seeks grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.147, dated 2.5.2016, Police Station Civil Lines, Amritsar, under Sections 420 and 120-B IPC (Sections 467, 468, 471 IPC deleted later on).

The order dated 29.8.2019, vide which the petitioner was declared a 'Proclaimed Person' has been separately assailed by the petitioner by way of filing CRM-M-37712-2021, which has also been taken up for hearing today and the same has been dismissed while upholding order dated 29.8.2019, declaring the petitioner as 'Proclaimed Person'. - 2 - CRM-M-35664-2021 (O&M) Keeping in view the conduct of the petitioner particularly the fact that he had been declared a proclaimed offender and also the ratio of State of Madhya Pradesh Vs. Pradeep Sharma, 2014(2) SCC 171 and Lavesh Vs. State (NCT of Delhi) 2012(8) SCC 730, wherein it has been held that a proclaimed offender should not be granted anticipatory bail, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief of anticipatory bail. The petition is sans merit and is hereby dismissed.
