The petitioner has approached this Court by way of the present writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the instructions dated 12.05.2011 (Annexure P-6) issued by respondents No.2 and 3 to the extent that benefit of past services will be allowed only to work charged employees who have worked as such for 5 years and for quashing of office letter dated 30.10.2014 (Annexure P-7) issued by respondent No.2 refusing the benefit of past service to the petitioner for the purposes of pensionary benefits. Further praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to take into consideration the period of work PUNEET CHAWLA 2026.05.21 18:16 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner despite the matter having been called twice.

A perusal of the case file reveals that the controversy involved in the present writ petition is no longer res integra and stands squarely covered by the judgment rendered by this Court in CWP No.1578 of 2020 and other connected matters titled as Rameshwar Dass vs. State of Haryana and others, decided on 27.03.2026.

Learned counsel for the respondents is unable to controvert the applicability of the aforesaid judgment to the facts and circumstances of the present case.

In view of the above and without expressing any independent opinion on the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of in terms of the judgment passed in Rameshwar Dass (supra). 6.
