This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No. 2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and to restrain the private respondent No.5 not to harass or interfere in the peaceful life of the petitioner with a further prayer to direct respondents No. 1 to 3 to decide representation dated 03.05.2025 (Annexure P-2). 2.

It is stated in the petition that the petitioner has preferred a representation/complaint dated 03.05.2025 to respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, District Rupnagar but no action has been taken so far.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer made by the petitioner, it appropriate to decide the petition without issuing the notice to the private respondent, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, District Rupnagar to consider and decide the representation/complaint dated 03.05.2025 of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
