The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents No. 4 and 5 to release his passport as he has been acquitted by the Trial Court. 2.
The petitioner has already been acquitted vide judgment dated 23.01.2023 passed by Trial Court, thus, he is entitled to his passport. 3.
Mr. Aman Dhir, DAG, Punjab, who on advance notice is present in Court, submits that as per his instructions, passport of the petitioner is lying in the custody of Trial Court at Fatehgarh Sahib. He is supposed to approach the said Court.
