(Oral) Mr. Kuldeep Singh Chahal, Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur along with SI Jaskanwal Singh, SHO, Police Station Dasuya, District Hoshiarpur have come present and apologized for not complying with the order dated 28.4.2016. He has further submitted that he has initiated appropriate administrative action against previous SHO, Inspector Kulwinder Singh and further assured that the same will be taken to its logical end.
It has been brought to the notice of this Court by the learned State counsel that wife of petitioner namely Roshni who is aged around 35 DALBIR SINGH TIWANA 2016.06.06 13:36 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.
Criminal Writ Petition No. 576 of 2016 -2years, which is conceded to by the counsel for the petitioner, has eloped with a young boy respondent no. 4-Gaurav and the couple is not traceable inspite of their best efforts.
Faced with this situation, counsel for the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, has made statement withdrawing the present petition. However, a fervent request has been made by counsel for the petitioner seeking redressal of grievance of the petitioner by way of registration of FIR regarding this alleged abduction of the wife of the petitioner. Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur has assured that in case they received any complaint from the petitioner, they will immediately take appropriate action as per law.
The petition stands disposed of with the directions to the SSP that on receipt of any such complaint by the petitioner, they shall take prompt and immediate action as per law, on the allegations of the petitioner. ( Fateh Deep Singh ) May 12, 2016 Judge 'tiwana'
